Hearthstone Recognized by PACE for COVID-19 Efforts

The fourth organization recognized with a Standing Ovation Award from the Pella Area Community and Economic Alliance is Hearthstone, A Ministry of Wesleylife. PACE Alliance Executive Director Karen Eischen says the non-profit senior living organization was challenged as many long-term care facilities were affected by COVID-19, a virus considered particularly dangerous for older people. Eischen says the way Hearthstone navigated various protocols served as an inspiration to others throughout the community during the worst of the pandemic. Hearthstone joined George’s Pizza, Families First of Pella, and Triumph Martial Arts as PACE Alliance Standing Ovation winners.
