(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) Traffic along I-29 was at a standstill for over an hour this afternoon after a multi vehicle crash sending four people to Mosaic Life Care. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just before 12:30 p.m. on northbound I-29 just north of Mitchell Avenue.

Bomb threat clears St. Joseph Walmart; nothing found

A bomb threat at the north St. Joseph Walmart turned out to be nothing, but did prompt the store to evacuate all employees and customers. St. Joseph police say Walmart officials reported receiving a bomb threat shortly after eight o’clock Wednesday night. Officers responded. The store cleared about 20 employees and numerous shoppers so a manual search could be made. Nothing was found.

St. Joseph woman dies while in custody, SJPD investigating

(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) A St. Joseph woman died while in police custody over the weekend. According to the St. Joseph Police Department, Lacey Fanning, 20, was arrested in reference to an investigation.
