FATAL ACCIDENT NEAR JAMESTOWN

An accident Thursday afternoon on Kansas highway K-28 west of Jamestown claimed the life of an Arkansas woman. Vickie Fenner, 66, of Conway, Arkansas, was driving a Volvo semi truck and towing a full grain trailer. Pauline Fern Brown, 98, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022, in Lincoln. She was born October 6, 1923, in Lincoln to Roxton Roy Spear and Ida Mae (Hobbs) Spear. Pauline married Albert Bird then later married Wilbur Brown after Albert’s passing. Pauline was a CNA at the Lincoln County Hospital and at Parkview Care Center nursing home in Osborne. She also provided adult and child daycare for many years while being a homemaker.
