Man allegedly shoots woman in the head in Barbour County, facing charges

MONTROSE, W.Va (WDTV) - A Montrose man is facing charges after allegedly shooting a woman in the head in Barbour County. On May 17, police responded to a report of a woman with a gunshot wound to the head on Teter Road, according to the criminal complaint. The victim told police that Lawrence Williams Adams shot her on the top of the head with a gun and then fled the house with the weapon before police arrived. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment. Police say a second witness corroborated these events.

PHILIPPI — A Barbour County couple says Z&S Trucking is liable for damages from an accident that occurred in 2019.
