Riverside County recommends everyone wear masks indoors, vaccinated or not

Riverside County Public Health officials Wednesday recommend people wear masks indoors, even for those who are vaccinated. INDIO (CBSLA) — A former Shadow Hills High School basketball coach accused of raping a teen girl remained free on bond Wednesday. Ryan Leron Towner, 35, was charged last week with one felony count each of lewd acts on a child under 14 years old with force and unlawful intercourse with a minor after being arrested June 10 following an investigation by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. Fire breaks out at strip mall in Jurupa Valley

A fire threatened to destroy a strip mall in the Rubidoux neighborhood of Jurupa Valley on Wednesday evening, July 28, Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department said. Man dead, woman hospitalized after stabbing on 10 Freeway on-ramp in Redlands

A man was killed and a woman was hospitalized in Redlands after a stabbing that took place on a freeway on-ramp, the California Highway Patrol said. The stabbing happened Sunday morning, July 25, just after 2 a.m. on the eastbound 10 Freeway on-ramp from Wabash Avenue, CHP spokesman Ivan Sandoval said. A woman had called authorities to report that she and her boyfriend had been in an altercation, Sandoval said.
