FORT LAUDERDALE - A woman was fatally struck by a bus Thursday morning in Fort Lauderdale. Police said the woman, described as being in her 50s, was walking along NW 1st Avenue and 1st Street, near the Broward bus terminal, when she was hit by a county transit bus. MIAMI - One person required hospitalization Thursday morning following reports of a police-involved shooting in a neighborhood in NW Miami.Initial reports indicated a carjacking led to a police pursuit, which also involved gunfire exchange between 3 people taken into custody and Hialeah police officers.It is not clear if one of the suspects had been shot by police. MIAMI - One man is dead after an early morning shooting on Miami Beach. Police said they received a call about the shooting at 14th Street and Collins Avenue around 3 a.m. Arriving officers found a man with gunshot wounds inside a car. LAUDERHILL, Fla. – Clayton McFarlane died after he was shot on Tuesday in an area of Lauderhill that has been plagued by fatal shootings. According to the Lauderhill Police Department, witnesses told officers they heard arguing before a loud bang.
