A pastor from Kentucky has been arrested in North Carolina, accused of molesting a child. Trent B. Holbert, 41, formerly a pastor at Epoch Fellowship Church in Owenton, was jailed in Black Mountain, North Carolina, on charges including indecent liberties with a child and two counts of statutory sex offenses (victim between 15- and six-years-old), according to a report by WLOS-TV.

Fish and Wildlife encouraging Kentuckians to report sick, dead birds

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WYMT) - The Department of Fish and Wildlife is asking people to report any sick or dead birds as part of an ongoing investigation into a bird mortality event. In late May, the department began receiving reports of sick and dying birds with eye swelling and a crusty substance around the eyes, as well as neurological issues.

UofL Health adds 6-bed intensive care unit at Shelbyville Hospital

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Shelbyville Hospital now offers a higher level of medical care. University of Louisville Health opened an intensive care unit at the hospital in Shelby County on June 14. With six beds, the unit has a focus on pulmonary care and is staffed with registered nurses who have specialized training to treat patients of a higher acuity.
