Throughout the last two years, since the COVID pandemic, we have seen so many restaurants and businesses struggle or just flat out close. Brother's Bar and Grill in St. Cloud actually closed pre-pandemic, in 2018. But there was another location in Minneapolis, not too far from Target Center. This was the last location in Minnesota. It has now also closed.

SAUK RAPIDS, Minn. (WCCO) — A 17-year-old boy was injured after being struck by a hit-and-run driver Monday afternoon. Police say that the incident happened along the 1000 block of 5th Street South. The jogger was next to the westbound land and was struck by an unknown vehicle. He was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with an injured hip, back and leg, and may be released Tuesday afternoon or evening. Police are asking anyone with any information in the case to call them at 320-258-5341.

A St. Cloud house fire caused an estimated $150,000 in structure and content loss Tuesday morning, according to the St. Cloud Fire Department. The fire department responded to the residence about 6 a.m. Tuesday and found fire coming out of the two-story home on three sides. All occupants were confirmed to be safely out of the home and the fire was extinguished. Two adults are being assisted by the American Red Cross. There were no injuries to occupants or firefighters, but one cat was killed in the fire.

(KNSI) — Anton’s Restaurant in Waite Park is closed for the time being due to flooding issues. The restaurant said on its Facebook page that it closed on Saturday, May 14th. The post showed numerous pictures of the parking lot underwater and standing water in the lobby and dining room. The steps to the deck were also partially submerged.

WAITE PARK -- A St. Cloud couple had to be rescued from the Sauk River Sunday after their kayaks capsized. The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says they received a call just after 4:00 p.m. that a woman and her husband were stuck in a grove of trees in the middle of the river.

(Faribault, MN) -- Charges are being dismissed against a St. Cloud man accused of selling ecstasy to a high schooler. The incident allegedly happened in 2019 in Rice County. The 17-year-old told police he thought he was buying Adderall when he was really sold ecstasy pills at Shattuck St. Mary's School. The charge against 22-year-old Raymond Charles Jackson, Jr. is being dropped as part of a plea agreement. He'll be sentenced later this month after pleading guilty to having marijuana and a handgun at his residence.
