BREAKING: At Least One Killed in Accident on Rt. 9 in Freehold [PHOTOS]

At least one person was killed in an accident on Rt. 9 in Freehold this afternoon, sources confirmed TLS. At least three vehicles were involved in the accident, and extrication teams needed to free three patients. Rt. 9 is shut southbound for the investigation.

At approximately 1:30 pm this afternoon there was a serious three car accident at the intersection of Route 9 and 33. We have unconfirmed reports of two people killed as well as some needing to be extricated from their vehicles. Unconfirmed reports indicate two medevac units were called to the scene.
