SHILOH, Ill. (KMOV) - Shiloh police say a 16-year-old that went missing Tuesday has been found safe. Jack Schottel, 16, was last seen in the 500 block of Pebble Brook around 8:05 a.m. leaving on foot with a black backpack reports say. He is described as 5-foot-9, 145 lbs, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

EDWARDSVILLE - A Madison man faces several drug- and weapons-related charges after a May 21 incident in Granite City. Brandon C. Houston, 35, of the 200 block of Watson Street, Madison, was charged May 23 with armed violence, a Class X felony; unlawful possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, a Class 2 felony; and unlawful possession of weapons by a felon, a Class 3 felony.

Two new felony charges have been filed in Marion County Court. 28-year-old Armani Moore of Chicago was charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. He was arrested by Centralia Police early Monday morning for allegedly having an uncases, loaded, and immediately accessible .45 caliber pistol. A conviction on the charge carries a one to three-year imprisonment. Moore also faces a second count of possession of a firearm without a FOID card. Moore had a public defender appointed to represent him. Judge Mark Stedelin agreed to release Moore on $5,000 personal recognizance bond.

A 19-year-old Odin man has been charged in Marion County Court with domestic battery. Wamac Police arrested Noah Meredith of Oak Street after he allegedly grabbed the arm of a family member. He was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bond provided he have no contact with the victim. The public defender was appointed to represent him.

Belleville Township High School District 201 accepted the woman’s resignation two weeks after the alleged shooting.

Police are asking the public for help to find a missing teen.

EDWARDSVILLE - A Troy man charged with auto theft was among a number of property crime-related felonies filed Monday by the Madison County State's Attorney's Office. Richard D. Anderson, 42, of Troy, was charged May 23 with offenses relating to motor vehicles, a Class 2 felony.

He is 5 feet, 9 inches tall with brown hair and hazel eyes and weighs about 145 pounds. It was unknown what clothes he was wearing.
