For the first time, commercial fireworks will be legal to set off at homes across Ohio starting the Fourth of July.

This Fourth of July, the big booms are once again headed back to Northeast Ohio.

With serious questions about the Browns quarterback situation going into 2022, some have wondered whether the team would turn back to Baker Mayfield if worst comes to worst. Per Carey Murdock of SoonerScoop.com, "I asked Baker Mayfield if there was any chance for a reconciliation with the Browns if they were without their quarterback this season. He said the Browns would have to reach out to start that process. Mayfield said he has moved on."

It is about to be July, and Baker Mayfield is still a member of the Cleveland Browns. No trade for the former No. 1 overall pick has materialized yet. Cleveland's expected starter, Deshaun Watson, has his much-anticipated disciplinary hearing with the NFL starting today. Meanwhile, Mayfield is in Norman, Oklahoma for his annual football camp.

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WJW) –SOL restaurant, located in downtown Willoughby, has many fresh new dishes on the summer menu, including this Arugula Melon Salad with Mimosa Vinaigrette. The salad can be topped with Mahi-Mahi, Chicken, Steak, Salmon or Octopus. SOL Executive Chef Brett Zubek shares the recipe with Fox 8’s Todd Meany. SOL is a Spanish fusion scratch kitchen that was recently recognized as Best Cleveland Brunch 2022 (an honor the restaurant has received in past years as well).

Last week, I tried a seafood boil for the first time. Since I was in Independence, Ohio, I went to Rockside Corners Shopping Center and got my seafood boil at Lobster & Pho, a restaurant that offers Cajun-style seafood boils and Vietnamese pho noodles. I was bewildered by the concept but also intrigued.

The Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition is hosting the 2022 Canoe Adventure on Summit Lake and the Ohio & Erie Canal on Saturday, July 16. Participants will receive a guided interpretive tour of Summit Lake and portions of the Ohio & Erie Canal, with guides providing updates on the Ohio & Erie Canalway, Towpath Trail and connector trails.
