Red Creek man who tried to rob bank and refused to leave jail cell sentenced to prison

AUBURN — A Red Creek man who tried to rob a Cato bank in 2019 and refused to leave his jail cell to be sentenced earlier this year was sentenced to prison Tuesday. Jason Ingleston, 43, with a last reported address of 6031 Manley Drive, was sentenced by Judge Mark Fandrich in Cayuga County Court Tuesday. Fandrich sentenced Ingleston to 13 years in state prison and five years of post-release supervision for the burglary offense and two to four years in state prison for the robbery charge, set to be held consecutively.

Geneva Woman Arrested Petit Larceny

On Saturday July 21, 2021, at 8:25 pm, the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Tina L. Eldredge, age 39, of Geneva, New York following a larceny investigation at the Wal-Mart Supercenter. Eldredge was observed by asset protection failing to scan items in self-checkout. Eldredge was then observed passing all points of sale without rendering payment for the items in her possession. Eldredge was charged with one count of petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor. Eldredge was processed and released on an appearance ticket scheduling her to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court at a later date to answer the charge.
