SEMINOLE, Okla. — Federal funding is on its way to Oklahoma to help in recovery almost two months after damaging tornadoes tore through Seminole. Trenton Hoyt Underwood, a Coalgate resident, passed away June 2, 2022, in Coalgate at the age of 56 years, 9 months and 1 day. He was born September 24, 1965, to Thurman John Underwood and Cleatus Leota (Brown) Guinn at Oklahoma City, OK. He was raised by his mother and stepfather, Vester Guinn. Trenton graduated from Coalgate High School, Class of ‘84 and was a meat market manager. He married Derise Paige Epps on September 21, 2019, at Coalgate, OK. Trenton enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming and being on the tractor. He loved everything outdoors. Survivors include his wife, Dee Underwood of the home in Coalgate; brothers, Tom Underwood and wife Alice of Fittstown, OK, Tim Underwood and wife Connie of Coalgate and Troy Underwood and wife Ashley of Wapanucka, OK; along with numerous nieces, nephews and many dearly loved friends.
