The woman who jumped to her death from her Manhattan high-rise with her dog in hand has been identified as Linda Holston, a recent transplant to the Big Apple. Holston, 60, moved to Manhattan in 2017 from New Mexico, where she acted in community theater. In New York, she studied acting at the William Esper Studio, completing the program in 2019, according to an online profile on Backstage.com.

NYPD seeking three teens for vicious ‘fight night’ beatdown in Queens

Cops are asking for the public’s help in apprehending a trio of punks who beat up an off-duty New York City firefighter in Queens on Friday. Cops on Sunday released pictures of three young men suspected in the caught-on-camera attack. One has a thin build with long dark hair, and was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, shorts and sneakers, cops said.

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — A mother and her 12-year-old daughter were killed in a car crash near John F. Kennedy International Airport on Saturday. It happened just after 8:45 p.m. near Guy R.
