Somers Point NJ Woman Found Dead After Tragic Pleasantville Car Crash

So many questions have yet to be answered regarding a car crash that occurred in Pleasantville, NJ on Tuesday, July 27th. A young woman, only 31-years-old tragically lost her life after her car crashed at the crossroads of North Main Street and Utah Avenue. The Press of Atlantic City has reported that not much is known at all about what exactly happened that fateful morning. Pleasantville police responded to a call during the mid-hours of the morning, around 6:30 a.m., and discovered 31-year-old Allison Tomsello unresponsive.

Atlantic City's Venice Park bridge 'falling apart,' weight limit instituted

ATLANTIC CITY — Officials added a weight limit Thursday to one of the city's Venice Park bridges, saying its poor condition is a public safety risk. Mayor Marty Small Sr. announced the new weight restriction during a news conference Thursday. Small also outlined the city's plans to repair the existing bridges and eventually replace them with new versions over the next two years.

A portion of Railroad Avenue in Middle Township will be closed for five hours on Friday. Township officials announced on their website that the road will be closed between the hours of 7am and Noon on Friday, from Teal Road to the intersection of Route 47. Construction will be underway during this time.

According to the Atlantic City Prosecutor’s Office, a grand jury handed down an indictment on July 27, 2021, against an Atlantic City man for 2 counts of Strict Liability Homicide and multiple narcotics offenses in connection to the drug-related deaths of two men from the United Kingdom in March 2020.
