The suspect, 16-year-old Oddell Cannon, surrendered to police without incident Tuesday. The victim is fortunately expected to survive after undergoing surgery. A student at Coatesville Area Senior High School was stabbed Tuesday morning in the school’s bathroom, and police have launched a manhunt for the suspect. Police are looking for Oddell Cannon, 16, and have filed charges of attempted murder as a result of a fight that took place at Coatesville Area Senior High School, in which authorities said he stabbed a 16-year-old sophomore nine times. He is being charged as an adult, authorities said.

Devon Horse Show and Country Fair returns after two-year absence [Events roundup]

The following events are planned for the week ahead throughout the region:. • After a two-year pandemic-induced hiatus, the Devon Horse Show & Country Fair returns this year, running Thursday through June 5 at 23 Dorset Road, Devon. Prior to the pandemic, the Devon Horse Show had been held annually since 1896 and is regarded as both the oldest and largest outdoor multi-breed horse competition in the United States. In 1919, the Devon Country Fair was established as the philanthropic arm of the organization to raise money for Bryn Mawr Hospital, while providing the community with fun-filled family activities. The Horse Show is ongoing throughout the day and evening and is held rain or shine. Tuesday Truck Fire Blocks Armand Hammer Exit Ramp

LOWER POTTSGROVE PA – A fire broke out Tuesday (May 24, 2022) shortly before 2 p.m. at the left rear side of a pick-up truck that was exiting westbound U.S. Route 422 at its Armand Hammer Boulevard interchange. The driver and sole occupant of the involved vehicle, a black-colored four-door Chevrolet Avalanche, escaped injury. The truck, however, was severely damaged and needed to be towed away.
