The life of a relief pitcher is sometimes a rough one. That was the case for Pittsburgh Pirates reliever Cam Vieaux in Friday’s game against the Milwaukee Brewers. Milwaukee led 9-1 when Vieaux took the mound in the top of the eighth inning. So, his assignment, was, for all intents and purposes, nothing more than mop-up duty. Things did not go well.

What was expected to be the first of many pitching duels between Contreras and Burnes, unfortunately, did not live up to the hype.

An Arnold man was accused of dealing drugs after police said they found nearly 1.5 ounces of crack cocaine, scales, guns and cash when they raided his home. Aaron Robert Hughes Jr., 37, of the 1700 block of Constitution Boulevard was charged with a felony count of possession of drugs with the intent to deliver along with counts of drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.
