Chico gas price comparison: Cheapest gas in the area

(CHICO, CA) Depending on where you fill up in Chico, you could be saving up to $0.73 per gallon on gas. QUICK STOP at 952 Nord Ave was the cheapest station in the area, according to a survey by GasBuddy, with regular listed at $3.76 per gallon Wednesday. By comparison, the most expensive gallon was at Chevron at 1101 Mangrove Ave, where a gallon of regular was selling for $4.49.

Chico Art Center fundraises with decorated pizza boxes

CHICO — Pizza collided with art and jazz Sunday at the Chico Art Center’s first “Pizza My Art.” The fundraiser featured community decorated pizza boxes up for auction, live jazz music from the Owen and James Jazz Duo, and $5 pizza slices with all raised funds helping keep the the arts center open.

These young men are members of the United States Sea Cadet Program in Chico.
