GIVEN WITH LOVE

Members of the Woman’s Club of Cotulla continue their support of child advocacy groups throughout the year and recently delivered blankets and stuffed animals to the Children’s Alliance of South Texas (CAST). Every child served by the center receives one of each to help alleviate any anxiety they may be feeling while meeting with counselors and forensic interviewers during case investigations into abuse, neglect and domestic violence in which they and other family members may have become victims. The contribution by the club members is made annually during April, which has been designated Child Abuse Prevention Month.
