An investigation is currently underway after an officer-involved shooting left a man in a wheelchair dead in Huntington Park Wednesday afternoon. Huntington Park PD responded to reports of a stabbing on the 2400 blk of Slauson Ave around 3:40pm.

According to Andy Kalmowitz and Jalopnik.com, "It’s been a rough couple of months for comedian and automotive icon Jay Leno. Just a few months ago he sustained third-degree burns to his face after a fire broke out at his garage in Burbank, California. Now, he is once again recovering after a motorcycle accident left him with several broken bones."

A tragedy as struck the USC and the nearby community after an explosion went off in a building on the USC campus that sent one person to the hospital late Thursday afternoon. Authorities say It all broke out before 4pm when LAFD responded to different reports of explosions and structure fire reprts on the 900 blk of Bloom Wk in the University Park area of South Los Angeles.

Authorities in California are searching for a murder suspect who was allegedly mistakenly released from detention on Tuesday. Salvador Corrales, 24, was tragically shot in Long Beach in 2018 by Steven Manzo, 24, who has been detained there since last March. Manzo was being held on a $2 million bail when he was released.

There was a wonderful eatery in Old Pasadena called “Pop”, and they’d specialize in (drum roll) sparkling wines and champagnes. They seemed to do quite well with “mouse*” crowd.
