Summer is here and with that, boating becomes one of the most popular activities in our area. Whether it is fishing, water skiing, or maybe just going to your favorite beach area on a local river or lake, Sheriff Russell and Deputies of the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office offer the following tips to remind boaters to be aware of Louisiana boating regulations and practice safety while on the water.
