The Flea Roast was a great success, but I can't help but mention the "Flea Roast Bingo" card I found with squares like: duct taped footwear, matching tattoos, Browning tattoo, tie dye anything, beer before noon, kids under 5 alone, one person with two beers, tramp stamp, overalls with no shirt, more than 3 facial piercings, flip flops with socks, homecut wife beater, and multicolored rainbow hair. WILLIAM “BILL” MELDRUM, SR.

William “Bill” Meldrum, Sr., age 81, of Empire, and formerly of Linwood, passed away Monday, June 27, 2022, at his home in Empire, Michigan. William was born December 28, 1940, to the late Arnold and Irene (Foco) Meldrum. William was an Army Veteran where he served as an expert Marksman. William retired from Bay City Chevrolet in 1987 where he worked as a laborer for 21 years. William is survived by: his wife of 55 years, Laura (Dunn); son, William Jr. (Ann Marie) Meldrum; daughter, Rebecca (Aaron) Smalley; grandsons, Brandon Genow, Eric Meldrum, Justin Genow and Ryan Meldrum; sister, Colleen Irving; sisters-in-law, Rosalie Meldrum and Janet Dunn; and several nieces and nephews.
