ACHS Class of 2022 graduates 185 seniors

On Monday night inside the Liberty University Vines Center, sheltered from the strong winds and rain outside, 185 seniors received their high school diplomas during Appomattox County High School’s Commencement Exercises. Last December the Jamerson Family Foundation made a generous donation to the library’s 501(c)(3) friend’s style group the Appomattox County Library Association (ACLA). Several weeks ago the library put half the donation toward a selection of board books and juvenile non-fiction. The library has purchased another selection of juvenile non-fiction books to complete using these funds. We would like to thank the Jamerson Family Foundation for making it possible to refresh and update our collection of science and animal books that have always been so popular with our young patrons.
