APPANOOSE COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG) - The Appanoose County Sheriff’s Office have ended their nearly 4 day-long manhunt. Officials say that Tuesday at approximately 3:50 pm, the Appanoose County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant in the 500 block of W. Washington St in Centerville, resulting in the arrest of David Boley.

The Appanoose County Sheriff’s Office says a suspect accused of assaulting a deputy has been apprehended and faces numerous charges. The search for David Boley came to an end at 3:50 PM on Tuesday, May 17 after authorities executed a search warrant at the residence of Christina Boley, David’s wife, in Centerville which resulted in the couple’s arrest.

ICONIUM, Iowa (KYOU) - Appanoose County law enforcement officials are still seeking the whereabouts of a man who they said assaulted a sheriff’s deputy. David Duane Boley, 33, was apparently seen by local residents near the cemetery in Iconium at around 9:45 a.m. on Sunday. He is 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 280 pounds, has brown eyes and brown hair. His head may be shaved, according to officials. Boley has several tattoos, including the letters “NY” on his left shoulder, a burning cross on his left forearm, a logo for the Green Bay Packers on his left arm, and a skull on his left calf.

Authorities are searching for a man considered armed and dangerous in rural Appanoose County after a deputy was assaulted earlier today.
