ELDRED TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A driver was injured as his vehicle crashed into a tree off State Route 36 on Tuesday afternoon. According to Marienville-based State Police, the accident happened on Monday, May 16, around 2:32 p.m., on State Route 36, at its intersection with Truck Drive, in Eldred Township, Jefferson County.

Police say man stole over $3k in lottery tickets

CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa (WTAJ) — Police say charges will be filed against a Clearfield man for the theft of over $3,000 worth of lottery tickets. Between May 1 and May 16, Police said Gerald Hertlein, 38, allegedly stole lottery tickets totaling $3,351 while he was working at the Hyde Uni-Mart.

DuBois baseball suffers first loss in USCAA Small College World Series

DUBOIS, Pa. — A striking difference in weather from Monday’s play, the Penn State DuBois (PSUD) baseball team took on Miami Hamilton (MH) out of Hamilton, Ohio, on Tuesday with Trevor Hanna, a senior from Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, starting on the mound. An early home run by MH gave them the initial lead with two runs.
