Stockton Man Facing Sexual Abuse and Unlawful Imprisonment Charges

A Stockton man was arrested Saturday morning on charges of 1st-degree sexual abuse and 2nd-degree unlawful imprisonment. Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies say that 41-year-old Joshua Dash, who was known to be wanted by the Sheriff's Office on those counts, was located at a residence on Dean Road in the Town of Stockton at about 8:00 AM. Dash was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail to be arraigned on the charges. He is being held on $25,000 bail.

Sheriff's Office Reports Two Arrests from North County Altercations

The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office made two arrests in separate altercations that occurred in the north county on Friday. The first incident was reported at about 2:30 PM at an address in the Town of Hanover, where 24-year-old Daniel Baez of Forestville had allegedly engaged in a physical altercation with another person. Baez was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, along with one count each of 2nd-degree harassment and criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation. Deputies say the second altercation took place in the Town of Sheridan at about 11:30 PM, with 29-year-old Ashley Gambino of Silver Creek being taken into custody on a charge of 3rd-degree criminal mischief. Baez and Gambino were both taken to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

Sinclairville man charged with DWAI by drugs and alcohol after crash

A Sinclairville man is facing drug and alcohol related charges after Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies found his vehicle in a ditch Wednesday night on Stockton-Hartfield Road in the town of Stockton. Deputies say an investigation found the driver, 45-year-old Rudy Ryen, to be driving while intoxicated and in possession of a controlled substance. Ryen has been charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and alcohol, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree, and moving from lane unsafely. Ryen was transported to the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office for processing and was later released with tickets to appear in Stockton Town Court on a later date.
