PAWLEYS ISLAND — Waccamaw Regional Council of Governments' transportation programs coordinator, Daniel Newquist, will take over as town administrator on July 18. Pawleys Island Mayor Brian Henry announced June 20 that Newquist, one of 19 candidates for the job, had signed a three-year contract that morning at town hall. The event will begin at Carolina OB/GYN at 9 a.m. and people are invited into the offices where they’ll receive a bag containing one 7.2 ounce can of Enfamil NeuroPro mix-based powder and a carton of six 2-ounce bottles of Enfamil Premixed formula. The formula distribution will end at noon or until supplies run out and the bags will be distributed one per person. No phone calls will be accepted and no product will be held.
