A Dubuque man faces multiple drug-related charges after a traffic stop in rural Stockton. Cordero J. Davis, 35, faces felony charges of unlawful possession of methamphetamine, three counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, unlawful delivery of cannabis, unlawful possession of cannabis; and misdemeanor charges of obstructing identification and driving while his license was suspended, according to a news release from the Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Office.

Fire District Benefits From Moore Foundation, Ambulance Service Adds Drivers

The Prophetstown Fire Protection District learned they were the recipient of two donations from Prophetstown’s Moore Foundation during their June board meeting. The fire department received a grant in the amount of $22,000 for 20 portable radios and signal repeater. The system will help boost communication in the southern part of the district.

Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges arrested on felony domestic violence charge

A spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department said on Thursday that Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges was arrested on a felony charge in Los Angeles, and released on $130,000 bail. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department records show that the 24-year-old Bridges was arrested at 1:55 p.m. local time Wednesday and booked at 5:37 p.m. He was released just after 8 p.m. and has a court date scheduled for July 20.
