Thomas L. Conrady, of Anthony, Kansas, was born January 21, 1946, the son of Carl J. and Rosalie M. (Blubaugh) Conrady. Tom was the second of five children. Tom grew up on a farm near Wakita, Oklahoma, where he attended school and graduated in 1964. He was an active member of the Saint Mary’s Assumption Catholic Church in Wakita and served as altar boy growing up. Tom was active in music, lettered in basketball and football, was president of his class and held many offices in student government.
