Pedestrian hit, killed in Kanawha County

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) - The 200 block of Lee Street has been reopened Tuesday following a deadly incident that claimed the life of a pedestrian. According to the Charleston Police Department, a woman was hit by a car around 11:15 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of traffic, near the intersection of Clendenin Street and Lee Street.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WCHS) — UPDATED: 3:30 p.m., 6/28/22. Police said possible charges are pending after a woman was struck and killed by a vehicle Tuesday in Charleston. An adult woman died after she was struck by a car Tuesday about 11:15 a.m. in the 200 block of Lee Street East near the intersection of Clendenin Street, according to the Charleston Police Department.
