American Heart Association – Hot Springs Celebrates 15 years of Sweetheart Ambassadors. The Central Arkansas American Heart Association will host its annual Hot Springs Heart Ball to raise funds and awareness for the organization’s continued mission fulfillment work. Chairman Lori & Dr. Eric Bowen will welcome guests to this virtual evening featuring a live auction and introduction of the 15th class of Hot Springs Sweethearts – high school-age girls who help carry out the AHA’s health campaigns and raise funds and awareness for education and research initiatives.

Four ATU representatives set for Miss Arkansas 2021

Two Arkansas Tech University students and two 2021 ATU graduates will be among the candidates vying for the title of Miss Arkansas 2021 this summer. Olivia Battles of Ozark, Lauren Brown of Harrison, Hannah Lomax of Russellville and Sophe Sligh of Hot Springs will represent Arkansas Tech at the Robinson Center in Little Rock beginning Sunday.

Save up to $0.05 per gallon - survey shows cheapest gas station in Glenwood

(GLENWOOD, AR) Gas prices vary across in the Glenwood area, but if you’re willing to head for the cheapest station, you could be saving up to $0.05 per gallon. According to a survey by GasBuddy, Valero at 47 Us-70 was the cheapest station in the area, with regular listed at $2.78 per gallon at the pumps Wednesday. That was compared to Shell at 283 Us-70, where a gallon of regular was selling for $2.83.
