50 years of pushing barriers at the Bunk House Lodge

Just north of Breckenridge sits a little lodge adorned with aged wooden siding. Cords of wood surround the backyard. Inside, cowboy hats and snowshoes hang from almost every wall, which are made up of logs that could date as far back as 1892. Yet within this rustic lodge lies one of Breckenridge’s most progressive establishments.

5 Colorado Locations Make the Top List for Snowiest Towns

We might have had a below-average winter in Colorado when it comes to snowfall, but that didn't stop Mother Nature from dropping feet of snow on some locations in Colorado. According to Meteorologist, Cory Reppenhagen, Colorado towns took up 25 percent of the top 20 snowiest small towns in America. The list of the top 20 small towns includes the upper peninsula of Michigan and Alaska.

Breck Film increases Spanish language programing

In an effort to better support those in the Summit County community who speak Spanish, Breck Film will be screening a selection of upcoming films in the language. First, Disney’s “Lightyear” will have Spanish screenings starting Friday, July 1, at The Eclipse Theater, 103 S. Harris St. in Breckenridge. The film opened June 17 and will continue at the theater through July 7. The Spanish screenings are 2 p.m. Friday, July 1; 4:30 p.m. Saturday, July 2; 2 p.m. Sunday, July 3; 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 6; and 7 p.m. Thursday, July 7.
