Officer Curtis Zwahr’s wife, Jessica, passed away from cancer soon after she gave birth to their son three months early. Zwahr’s son, Curtis Jr., remains in the Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit, and he is also raising his eight-year-old daughter, Annabelle.

The Miss Schulenburg court traveled to Yoakum on Saturday, June 4 representing the Schulenburg Festival Association. The court placed third for its entry in the Tom Tom Festival parade.
