The 2022 Algonac Clay Music in the Parks series will include a variety of musical guests for people to look forward to, as well as the return of Art in the Parks. Police use PIT maneuver, break window to get to drunken driver on I-75 in Lincoln Park

LINCOLN PARK, Mich. (FOX 2) - When police responded to a driver blocking a lane of I-75 in Lincoln Park early Saturday, the driver tried to flee. Michigan State Police troopers were called to southbound I-75 near Dix at 3:55 a.m. because a Dodge Journey was blocking the right lane. Police said the 33-year-old Grosse Pointe woman was slumped over the wheel and had an open bottle of liquor.

Marine City lists Guy Center property for sale

The Marine City Commission approved a listing agreement between the city and Pilot Property Group for 303 S. Water St., known as the Guy Center, at its May 19 meeting. On April 21, commissioners approved a motion that the city sells 303 S. Water St. and holds the proceeds in a restricted fund until the city commission decides what the Guy Community Center should be with consideration to the will, resolution and legal obligations that it entails. The motion also provided City Manager Holly Tatman the authority to choose from the realtor list that the city already received for the sale of the property.
