Summer concert series to open at ‘The Venue’

Area children present ‘The Jungle Book’ with MCT

Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) came back to Albion last week to present their adaptation of “The Jungle Book” with children from the surrounding areas. In the story, Mowgli (played by Kathryn Kohtz and Margot Martinez) is left in the jungle to be raised by wolves, befriends a panther, is educated by a bear, and experiences life adventures all while living in the wild. During his experiences, he discovers what it means to be human, attempting to escape the monkeys and trying to outwit the great Shere Khan through the help of a rock-python and a valuable lesson from the mongoose Rikki-Tikki-Tavi. In the end, he comes to understand his friendly neighbors, even outsmarting Shere Khan himself.
