Since no one carries cash, Oler liked to bring a printed QR code so customers who wanted to tip could scan it and simply Venmo her. But one day, her printer was broken. She walked over to the library to print her sign and on her way home noticed a “for lease” sign in the window of an adorable cottage downtown. “I thought, ‘My husband’s going to kill me, but I’m going to start a business here,’” she says, laughing.
