Two Injured in 2 Vehicle Collision Sunday Evening, East of Blue Earth

Faribault County First Responders were summoned to a two vehicle, personal injury accident on Sunday evening at a rural intersection east of Blue Earth. Twenty four year old Lane Anderson, of Delavan, was traveling south on County Road 109 when he collided with a vehicle operated by 52 year old Kevin Steinhauer of Frost, which was traveling east on County Road 16.

Forest City Motor Night draws car, truck, tractor, bike, and food enthusiasts

It was nirvana for enthusiasts of cars, trucks, motorcycles, and tractors roaming five blocks of Clark Street in downtown Forest City on June 6. Both sides of Forest City’s main street were filled with many classic and souped-up vehicles amidst music provided by Mojo Productions of Britt and a large, shaded food area. There were an estimated 200 vehicles and hundreds of spectators.

Karla Penning has recently joined Lichtsinn RV in Forest City, in the RV Finishing and Quality Control department. Penning was born in Britt and is a graduate of United South Central High School in Wells, Minnesota. Penning was previously employed at Winnebago Industries, Inc. in Forest City as a vinyl floor installer. In Penning’s 14 years at Winnebago Industries, she held several other positions throughout the factory.
