Montgomery, Warren counties join others with 'substantial' COVID-19 spread

Two other area counties have now reached a COVID-19 case level in which the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends reinstating indoor mask-wearing. Warren and Montgomery counties both now have “substantial” community spread. Warren County is averaging 51.61 new cases per 100,000 residents and Montgomery County is averaging 50.79 new cases per 100,000 residents. The two counties vaccination percentages are 64.9 percent and 53.3 percent, respectively.
