Stillwater woman accused of repeatedly abusing boyfriend

In charges filed on June 7, Lakawitz was accused of using a tire iron to hit her boyfriend in the leg and arm, as well as a knife to poke him in the side and face on June 5. Lakawitz was also accused of biting him on the chest, pulling out his hair, and after pushing him to the ground, sitting on his trunk and choking him, also on June 5.

Car accident leads to arrest

A two-car accident in Meridian led to a felony arrest of a Duncan man last Tuesday when he was allegedly under the influence. According to the court report, Bobby Craig Curtis, 52, was traveling in his pickup truck on Oliver Road east of Old Highway 81 when he hit the car of Rosa Lee Tidwell, 91, of Comanche.
