Webster replicating Target Field for tee-ball

WEBSTER, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Construction of a new tee-ball field in Webster will give kids a glimpse of what it’s like to play in the majors at Target Field. It was complex coordinator Chad Hesla who had the idea to replicate the Minnesota Twin’s home field at the Webster Veterans Memorial Sports Complex.

WWII MIA sailor welcomed home with open arms

Eighty years ago, the Tony Nigg family received official word that their son, Navy Seaman Second Class Laverne “Budd” A. Nigg was missing in action, and later that he was presumed dead. On Saturday, June 4, 2022, he was buried at Calvary Cemetery in Browns Valley, MN with full military honors.
