Well this is a thing! It’s called “Swimply” – and people are renting out their heated pools. No really. Since 2020, they’ve had over 120,000 bookings nationwide. One of the more interesting heated pools available for rent is right here in Fenton – check out this Disney themed pool. Here’s part of the listing:

OUR TOWN: Has the lake been more beautiful?

HAS THE LAKE BEEN MORE BEAUTIFUL?: The writer was spellbound sitting at a picnic table last week. Anchor Bay was basking in its glory, blue with gentle waves, a lovely breeze, swans floating by, a clear view of the land across the water. Often taken for granted, Our Town is blessed with its own picture-perfect spot on earth. Take time to just sit and take it all in sometime. Both inspirational and emotional, Anchor Bay can bring smiles and tears of joy. Once the writer met a visitor from California in complete awe of the color of the lake. He had no idea that Michigan waters were so lovely. The green grass astounded him as well. This is our home and we love living here. Lucky us!
