Third suspect arrested in Connelsville shooting

ADAIR COUNTY, MO – A third suspect was arrested Wednesday morning in connection with a shooting mid-march near Connelsville. Missouri Highway Patrol, and Adair County Sheriff arrested Kenneth Leon Potter, 50, of Novinger. He, and his son, Kenneth Dylan Potter, 25, face charges of attempted murder after allegedly shooting at a vehicle on Highway 149 March 16. A bullet allegedly struck a female passenger in the side of the head. Her injuries were not life-threatening.
