Two People Killed In Hempfield Twp. Crash

By: KDKA-TV News Staff HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — Two people are dead following a crash in Hempfield Township. The Westmoreland County Coroner has identified the crash victims as Walter and Catherine Gardner, both from Jeannette. The coroner says the two were driving on Agnew Road around 5:45 p.m. on Saturday when their Ford F-150 left the roadway, drove down an embankment, and rolled over into a small creek. Both people were pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner says they were not wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash.

Beware of heavy traffic in Hershey ahead of Saturday’s Guns N’ Roses concert, police say

Derry Township police released traffic guidelines Saturday afternoon hours before hundreds of people are expected to flood Hersheypark Stadium for the Guns N’ Roses concert. Police believe traffic will be at its heaviest in Hershey this afternoon. To help with the traffic, township police will close the “slip ramp” that allows northbound Park Boulevard traffic to enter the stadium’s main parking lot. The slip ramp will be closed from 2–8 p.m.

(CONNELLSVILLE, PA) According to Connellsville gas price data, you could be saving up to $0.10 per gallon on gas. Speedy Meedy's at 1697 University Dr was the cheapest station in the area, according to a survey by GasBuddy, with regular listed at $3.19 per gallon Wednesday. By comparison, the most expensive gallon was at Bell's Service Station at 110 Bell Dr, where a gallon of regular was selling for $3.29.

(JOHNSTOWN, PA) Depending on where you fill up in Johnstown, you could be saving up to $0.05 per gallon on gas. On Saturday the cheapest gallon of unleaded regular in the area was at Sunoco at 977 Franklin St. Regular there was listed at $3.25 per gallon Wednesday, compared to $3.3 at Stems at 130 Belmont St, which GasBuddy clocked as the most expensive station in the area.

FREE TOUR through the first railroad tunnel in America next weekend
