Mark Adams Wants All the Smoke

Mark Adams has been the head coach of the Red Raiders basketball team for about 6-weeks. The turn-around has been nothing short of amazing. It's one thing to completely rebuild a roster with a returning coaching staff, but to hire a brand new staff while simultaneously finding a brand new roster in the transfer portal is simply incredible.

Jung Garners All-America Honors from Baseball America

The All-America honors continue to roll in for Texas Tech Baseball, as Jace Jung earned a spot on Baseball America's 2021 All-America team, it was announced Thursday. Jung was placed on the outlet's second team, marking his third All-America honor of the postseason. He was a first team selection by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA).

Former Lubbock High standout Madisyn Cox misses Olympic qualifying in 200 IM

Madisyn Cox came up heartbreakingly short of automatically qualifying for the Tokyo Olympics. Cox, the former Lubbock High standout, narrowly missed a spot on the U.S. Olympic swimming team after placing third in the 200-meter individual medley Wednesday at the U.S. Olympic Trials at CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

Trey Medlock is a native of Lubbock, TX and a 1991 graduate of Texas Tech. He is the former managing general partner and president of the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees of the Central Hockey League and the Rio Grande Valley Dorados of the AF2 League. Trey also contributed to the Memphis RiverKings and the Memphis Xplorers organizations, as well as the Colorado 14ers of the NBA G League and the Rocky Mountain Rage of the Central Hockey League.
