Texas Tech issues statement on fan behavior following win over Texas

Texas Tech recorded a big win over Texas this weekend. Unfortunately, the game was marred by an ugly incident after the final whistle. As Red Raider fans and students rushed the field, one fan was seen pushing a Longhorn player in the mayhem. Needless to say, that conduct is completely unacceptable in the realm of college football.

Texas Tech isn't happy with one fan's actions following the game against Texas on Saturday. The school released a statement after a video came out showing a Red Raiders fan pushing a Longhorns player. There is a lot of season left and this team has improved, perhaps more individually than it appeared on Saturday. Quinn Ewers' eventual return might be a psychological boost the team, and most importantly, Steve Sarkisian, needs. It seems clear Sark will be more aggressive and try to hang 50 on teams with Ewers at the helm. Aggressive doesn't mean simply throwing shots down field, but being less predictable on money downs.
