West Fargo Woman Dead, Another Injured After Motorcycle Crash

A West Fargo woman is dead after a motorcycle crash just west of Welcot on Friday. 51-year-old Tracy Stephens was the passenger of the motorcycle when the two took a right hand curve and overturned after 3:30 PM. Both were taken to Sanford Hospital in Fargo for serious injuries. Stephens died from the injuries sustained. North Dakota Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash.

A trio of nurses jump in to help Shrine Bowl referee

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - Saturday was a beautiful day for football and hundreds filled the stands at West Fargo Sheyenne for the annual Shrine Bowl. The two-game event kicked off with the 11-man East All-Stars and West All-Stars. It was a back and forth game with the score tied right before halftime when everything came to a sudden stop.

Fargo gas price comparison: Cheapest gas in the area

(FARGO, ND) Gas prices vary across in the Fargo area, but if you’re willing to head for the cheapest station, you could be saving up to $0.10 per gallon. On Saturday the cheapest gallon of unleaded regular in the area was at ARCO at 3202 33Rd St S. Regular there was listed at $2.79 per gallon Wednesday, compared to $2.89 at Cenex at 330 Main Ave , which GasBuddy clocked as the most expensive station in the area.

FARGO-- Team East was dominate on Saturday, as the Shrine Bowl returns to North Dakota. In 9-man, the East All-Stars rally late in the fourth quarter capping off a 94-yard drive to win 30-24. This marks the third straight year the East has won the Shrine Bowl. May-Port's Sawyer Satrum threw 31-yard touchdown with 24 seconds remaining for the win.

Fargo Observes Juneteenth

(Fargo, ND) -- Residents in Fargo officially celebrated the newly-created holiday of Juneteenth Saturday at Lindenwood Park. The day-long event featured speakers, music, dancing and a number of other activities. Organizers say they offered festival-goers a wide variety of historical and cultural booths and vendors with both food and merchandise. The new holiday celebrates the date in 1865 when African American slaves in Texas formally received word they were freed.
