Mrs. Jenetta (Davis) Wilson, age 82, of Tompkinsville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center surrounded by family. Jenetta was born on January 18, 1940, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Hattie (Netherton) Davis. She graduated from Tompkinsville High School in 1958 and married Bobbie Gene Wilson on January 18, 1959. Jenetta had a special love for her family, especially her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and there weren’t too many events in their lives that Bobbie and Jenetta didn’t make it a priority to attend. She enjoyed traveling, whether it be across town or across the country, she was always ready to go. She was a member of Persimmon Homemakers for several years, where she shared her love for gardening and flowers. Jenetta was a devout member of Tompkinsville Church of Christ and held a special place in her heart for all of her church family.

Johnny ‘Slick” Loy, of Columbia, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at T.J. Health Hospital, in Columbia. He was 70 years of age. Slick was born February 13, 1952, in Somerset, son of the late Arvis Elvern and Irene McQueary Loy. He was a mechanic and would mow yards. Slick loved playing pool. He was a good person who had professed his faith in Christ.

Mrs. Grace (Webb) Watson, of Burkesville, passed away Monday, May 23, 2022 at the Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, Kentucky having obtained the age of 85 years, 1 month, & 2 days. She was born in the Pea Ridge Community of Clay County, Tennessee, on Wednesday, April 21, 1937, the daughter of Savage & Stella (Crawford) Webb. She was a member of The Rock Springs Church of Christ, had recently been attending The Seminary Church of Christ, Retired from Western Electric in Indianapolis, Indiana, worked at Osh Kosh, and the Salvation Army. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Watson whom she wed February 25, 1960 (he passed away December 25, 2012), brother, D.C. Webb, & her sister Lavena Webb Clark.

Jerry was born March 16, 1954, son of the late Refus Dowell and Ada Mae Coffey Gentry. He liked to cut tobacco and mow yards. He enjoyed doing his own house cleaning and cooking. The number of miles and hours Jerry walked the roads of Russell County, cleaning up the roadsides of aluminum cans, could only be guessed.

She was born on September 7, 1967, the daughter of the late Harold Wayne Moran and Jo Ann Martin of Edmonton. She graduated from Metcalfe County High School in 1985, and attained her RN Degree from Western Kentucky University, utilizing her degree at Signature Healthcare of Monroe for over thirty-two years. On July 1, 1989, she married Brian Christopher Hammer, of Tompkinsville. Kellie was the epitome of Housewife and hardworking, loving to clean, cook, and host her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling to the beach and spending time with her family. She was a devout member of Tompkinsville First Baptist Church.
