Maine to Massachusetts Shark Sightings, A Great White Finally Closes a Cape Cod Beach

We're reading about shark sightings several times a month around New England, especially in Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. Cape Cod is leading the count, sometimes with up to 10 sightings a week. These sightings don't surprise me much, as the Cape's become a hot bed over the last decade with more and more sharks sightings, including Great Whites. There's even a "Cape Shark" store, as well as social media pages by The Cape Shark.

New England Breweries – Please Don’t Follow This Texas Brewery’s Lead

We have our own local slang for them here in New England. In Maine, especially inside of Hadlock Field, they’re known as “red snappahs.” Down at Fenway Park in Boston, you order a “Fenway Frank.” Inside of Northeast Delta Dental Stadium – actually, outside of calling it a “Fishercat Frank” or a “Fisher Frank,” they may just call it a plain old hot dog. But that’s where it ends for us.

Disasters ‘The Umbrella Academy’ Would Have Faced If They Traveled Back in Time to Maine

If you have not watched the Netflix show The Umbrella Academy, here is a little information about the show. The Netflix series recently released its third season, however, all the seasons follow six (really seven) siblings (otherwise known as the Hargreeves family or Umbrella Academy) with superpowers who have the ability to time travel, and they tend to constantly find themselves in an apocalypse. Without giving too much information away, that is probably the best synopsis that I can give you.

Piping Plovers Won’t Stop Hampton Beach’s 4th of July Fireworks

The fireworks are a go for the Fourth of July, despite the nesting piping plovers still being close by. The endangered birds are nesting on north area beach, which is near where the fireworks are launched. The Hampton Village District in conjunction with New Hampshire Fish and Game canceled several displays already, including the one celebrating the annual Sand Sculpting Classic.
