Ezra Miller Begins Treatment For ‘Mental Health Issues’

Last week, it was reported that Warner Bros. was planning for three potential outcomes for its mega-budget movie of The Flash based on what happened to its controversial star, Ezra Miller. Option one: Miller, who was recently charged with a burglary in Vermont, could seek professional help, get their act together, and the movie could be released as planned. Option two: The Flash gets released but, if Miller didn’t find a way to stay out of trouble, they would have essentially been removed from the film’s publicity and would have likely been replaced as the Flash in any future projects involving the character. And option three: Had Miller’s legal troubles worsened even further, Warner Bros.might have shelved the $200 million movie shelved entirely.

Police Say Drunken Hudson Valley Man Threw Food at Victim

Food is meant to be eaten, not thrown in the direction of another person standing there. Police say a local man tossed food at a victim recently during a verbal argument that spiraled out of control. Law enforcement was able to help the victim retrieve some of their personal belongings at the residence where the altercation took place. Now, this 32-year-old man is facing charges after police say he tried to physically remove the officer from the residence during the scuffle.

The ‘Fast Times at Ridgemont High’ Cast: 40 Years Later

Released on Aug. 13, 1982, Fast Times at Ridgemont High featured a cast comprising almost entirely unknown young actors portraying the film’s high school-age characters. Many notable actors were up for roles in the film but ultimately didn't make the final cast. Tom Hanks, then a TV star who hadn't yet made the transition into movies, was considered for the role of Brad Hamilton. Jodie Foster was reportedly up for the role of Stacy Hamilton but instead wanted to focus on her studies at Yale. Actress Justine Bateman was offered the part of Linda Barrett but had to turn it down so she could accept a role on the sitcom Family Ties. And Jeff Spicoli, the character that made Sean Penn a star, nearly went to another '80s icon: Matthew Broderick.

Plane From Westchester County, New York Crashes in Hudson Valley

Multiple injuries were reported after a plane wouldn't brake and crashed into a road in the Hudson Valley over the weekend. On Sunday around 11:45 a.m., New York State Police from the Highland and Gardiner barracks responded to Skydive The Ranch in the town of Gardiner, New York for a report of a single-engine fixed-wing airplane crash.
