ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — The Denver Broncos' new ownership group is the league's most diverse, with four of the six members either female or minorities. Rob Walton and his daughter and son-in-law brought aboard three Black limited partners. They are former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Starbucks board chair Mellody Hobson and Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton. The group purchased the Broncos for a record $4.65 billion from the Pat Bowlen Trust. The sale was approved this week and the new owners flew to Denver to met with players and staff on Wednesday. Walton says Penner will be the team's new CEO.

(AP) — Former Washington State football coach Nick Rolovich has filed a claim against the university seeking $25 million for wrongful termination after he was fired last year for refusing to get vaccinated against COVID-19. It will be called Summer's Hub of Kennewick and has room for up to 28 food trucks and food carts. The food truck hub was announced in December 2021 and is now opening with Brady's Brats, delighting foodies with a gourmet bratwurst sausage menu.

Major League Baseball returns to Iowa on Thursday when the Chicago Cubs play the Cincinnati Reds in the second “Field of Dreams” game at a throwback ballpark near where the 1989 movie was filmed. Last year's version, a wild 9-8 victory for the Chicago White Sox against the New York Yankees, was a smashing success. The Cubs and Reds will wear special uniforms inspired by how the franchises looked in the early 20th century.
